Yeah been trying to get sone nets sorted out at the Oval and at Lords, but their booking systems are shocking it seems.. Oh well, i have revision and my new accesories business on here to be setting up and thinking about!
2. Bowling accuracy - do a 3 * 3 grid with the column headings being outside off/just outside off to stumps/legside and the row headings being full or overpitched / good length / short . The basic idea is to hit the middle square as much as possible (stumps / good length) with the top left 4 squares being acceptable (outside off to stumps and full to good length).
I've done/trying a couple of things recently:-1. Video cam the batting - as long as the camcorder doesn't get hit you can stick the stuff up on youtube/website. People love to analyse their batting.2. It's fun more than anything particularly scientific, but also revealing.3. Bat swap - get everyone to try someone else's bat or a couple of bats. Helps people understand what bat suits them - it's not always the one they currently use.4. Sometimes work on plans to unsettle batters - ie. if we know he's weak against the short ball we bang it in. Good for the batters as they can work on their weaknesses.
