Have just got off the phone with Rob Pack (Blueroom) and we are on!

Been speaking with him the last couple of days about what I'm looking for and what we both want out of the experience and have agreed on everything. The bloke is a legend. I was after the 'Swell' but with a weight of 2.10. He said he has a couple of new things up his sleeve to try out on me and I can't wait to see it. Will be starting on it the end of the week with a view to getting it out to me before the month is out.

Ideally would have loved to go and visit him in the cave, but what with it being a 7 hour round trip and 50notes on the train. We decided that he can do what I want without me being there.

Will stick photos and review up as and when I can. Thought I would give a decent contribution to the forum, seeing as everyone has been so kind with the advice. Special mention to Liam and Simmy on helping me out and willingness to have their ears bent.

Mate. this guy is a legend. I live in oz and have been conversing with him all week about my bat. Have nailed down the speci. and am just waiting for a delivery quote and it's all done. You guys in nuclear winter land are very lucky to have access to guys like rob. A three hour drive is nothin If I was you I would make the effort. "Some things are just worth it"

I don't drive mate that's the thing. And the idea of me speaking with Rob and him doing a good price for me means me not having to fork out a fortune for train fair! I am considering it though.

2lb 8 finished wieght new wave profile, grade 1+. Sweet spot at just a tad below middle(aussie pitches). I didn't care about grains I just wanted pure, rediculous performance.

lazz, how do you pay him? PayPal?

Don't know yet but one method is that he gives you his bank details and you do an international transfer or pay by credit card somehow. I will update you hopefully by monday.
