Support for smf iPhone app
« on: November 22, 2010, 09:43:39 AM »

Hi all I'm hoping this is the right place for this so here goes.
I've been a member of the forum for a little while now and I as I imagine many others use my iPhone to view and post with today I was looking for an app that might make life a little easier and I found forumrunner.net when I searched for custombats i got a message saying that the forum administrator would have to register the forum (free of course) and then it would be available on the app.

Any chance you guys could give it a go? As the browser on my phone is killing my eyes!

Cheers

Fran

Very true however having to scroll around all over the place is a pain and having the forum on a native app with a proper pm inbox and set up properly would be pretty good font you think?

thanks for all the feedback on the merits of iPhone against Android etc etc in future I will make sure I'm more specific and generic with my questions!

Just realised they are currently working on the smf side on forum runner and ive found another app called forumkast that makes it easier to view the forum.

fran

on an iPhone (how terrible!)  :( :D ;)

I have a blackberry and it is ok viewing the forum, but the endless zooming in and out and scrolling can be a bit annoying.

I don't use the mobile site, i would if it had the end colum showing the last post. Rather than havign to go into the board to find the recent topic.

When i'm at home i use my ipod touch, i find it find browing the forum using pinch zoom and scrolling around
