Andrew was having a few issues with keeping his orders fulfilled in Spring this year. Our sports shop owner kept having to go down to the barn and bring back the bats in dribs and drabs, which (surprise surprise) sold immensely quickly.

All Senior Salix bats are handmade at their Barn in Kent. The Salix Rascal (Kashmir) range is shaped in India before being sent to the UK to be finished & stickered...

AH okay, cheer guys.

I was also under impression that adult bats are handmade by Andrew in Kent whereas KW being made in India.

I am looking at Daemon. Is it a good choice?

Low middle, fairly heavy (about 2'10 onwards). If thats what you're after, I'm sure you will get on with it very well.

Ah okay, cheers!

Personally speaking I like low middle bats as I am able to middle the ball well with them.

I use 2.8-2.9 bats so I am guessing 2.9 lbs will be good ? Or will the pickup be heavy and it will feel like 2.11ish?

I havent, not for about 8 years anyway. I have no reason to believe they would be anything other than top notch though.

Arma aren't the top of the line gloves so I am not too sure if they will be top notch.

Another thing Jon that do these Salix take time to open up? Most of the Salix I have been seeing since last couple of days have around 7 grains (8 being max) so going by that do they take time to open up?

Also why do Salix top of the line bat have so less grains? I know they want to extend the life and younger trees are being chopped down...

It isn't true to say they all have fewer grains, for instance:

http://uzisports.com/product_info.php?products_id=695

A factory second, but one of the best looking pieces I've ever seen.

I've found with my Salixs they are pretty good from the off (once knocked in of course), but I suppose it varies from bat to bat.

I had my eyes on this Factory Second but was scared to invest in that as I am not sure if they will play as good as normal Salix.

Do you think it is worth invest in Salix's factory second or new one should be bought?

I've asked Aquareshi about this bat and he claims that normally, the Rogues come with a note to say why they have been downgraded, but with this one, noone could work out why. I can't advise you on that decision, it has to be up to you.
