Bat detail thread 1: CBC Butterfly

The first special bat I bought. However when it arrived I decided it was too special to use, so it has lived in it's cover ever since. Bought as 2'6, recently weighed at 2'10. A thing of beauty, enjoy!

Looks like talisman writing!!

Why the change in weight, wa sit never a 2lb 6 or mysterious got heavier lol?

I didn't weigh it when I first got it, so it will remain a mystery. What I do is is that about a week after I got this bat, CBC ceased to exist, so it is perfectly possible I was sent whatever they had left in stock. I don't regret buying the bat, but the purchasing experience was less than satisfactory. I'm still waiting for them to send the free gloves that were part of the deal!

Thought I'd bump this given the recent trend for Butterfly stains, I used to love CBC gear, but then they just vanished overnight.
