Post your Retro bat, Old favourite or classic.
« on: November 27, 2010, 06:36:52 PM »

I thought with all the love there seems to be for old bats it would be nice to have a thread where people can post pics and stories of their old favourite or retro bat. Hopefully this will encourage people to get out the "old faithfull" and regale us with merry tales of summer sixes.

I'll get things started with a bat that used to be my dads and has sadly been neglected, a thorough refurb later...

One Duncan Fearnley Match, about 2.7 (I remember it being heavier)

Genuinely looks like cellotape around it.

Looking forward to seeing more classic bat pics

Sadly not at the moment, cos it was my dad's I can't really bring myself to part with it. If I ever do I'll let you know.

That recurve certainly is befitting, it looks practically new? I assume that's because you're such a clean striker of the ball it leaves no marks on the bat?
