I've just taken possession of a Ram Rambow bat but know very little about them- looks an absolute monster and a decent pickup.

anyone know much about them?

Mark Ilott has been on my Level 2 course for the last few weeks.  Bats are made by BAS in India.  The one Mark has is unbelievably good, but I doubt they are all that good.  They will be stopping doing bats soon, and focussing on club/school/coaching equipment.

Just incase anyone comes back, My Old Man owns RAM, their bats aren't custom made, but the RAMBOW is designed for up to County level.  As someone pointed out they main target is schools and clubs rather than one off orders to individuals, I'm tempted to get a Rambow myself although 3 bats for someone at my level is probably excessive!

Good bloke, working with him hopefully over the season.  We met a few weeks back @ the Oval.

Hi Gareth, the one and only.  You'll be working with my brother Andrew as well, he's a good bloke, but doesn't talk much at the beggining of the week!!!  What will you be doing?

Brill, is that for both cricket and rugby gear?  I need to get him using forums like this more, trouble is he hates technology!

Yeah hopefully all your UK items anyhow.

I think he called me 'twitter man' by the time we finished!
