Albion Ultimate 98
« on: November 29, 2010, 11:04:23 PM »

claims to be the lightest on the market with f1/aircraft design technology, must admit that its my favourite looking lid - even nicer than the masuri

costing £120 in most shops at the minute i was just wondering if anyone knows any more about them? are they that good to justify the price?

"claims to be the lightest on the market with f1/aircraft design technology"

Aytek was 1st to use this 2 years ago

I think they are quite a bit heavier than the Ayrtek and nowhere as safe.

Started a thread on this a few weeks ago...

Had noticed that they had copied our sales lines from 2 years ago lol no details of weight or safety results that they will list as I have asked out of interest. Unless they know our Bsi test results I can't see how they can justify their claims either? (Which aren't disclosed to other brands hence why we had to pay to test Albion and masuri helmets against our own).

Ps...If u read the details it's a carbon re-enforced plastic still rather than actual carbon fibre in it's raw format!

not worth the £120 then! just wondering if there was something really unique or special about them to explain that price tag, obviously not!

Mention the wording carbon fibre and everyone assumes it's an expensive product....depends if it's actual CF or not being used or just particles of it ???

Still quite flattered they are resulting to copying our sales lines and materials to try and make up ground on us....

Our time will come as we have done our homework and have evidence to back up our claims we make :)
