Hmmm I don't know. If a couple of people from here go then I might £200 for a custom bat and a tour of Lords etc seems like a good investment.

Would love to do this, however I just haven't got the money and I don't need a bat.

Didn't Talisman invest £150 at the Lords test last season, and received two planks that were Grade 3, having chased up the main guys at GN received that stunner of Oblivion.

Would be interesting if someone could have an investment and review it, I would doubt the quality of the blade in terms of responsiveness or aesthetics.

Well my ultimate bat would be 14 dead streight grains massive middle from toe to shoulder, pick up feather light 45mm edges 85mm on the spine and rebound better than a  fusion skyer if they can do this then sign me up :D :D

If it says that you will receive your Ultimate cricket bat, then you absolutely should.... Just as Talisman did! You might have to a bit of a stickler to get it though!

I'd have loved to, I bet it will be a cracking day out. The thing that put me off though was Mr Brimble's experience of a similar thing during the tests last summer. Yes, he ended up with one of the best bats we have ever seen, but it took 3 attempts and he was sent 2 absolute dogs inbetween times.

I know it may sound daft but £200 just doesn't seem enough money for me to be assured of getting a top bat. Had it been £300 I'd have been more tempted in a way.

I hope the day goes well for all involved
