Why would Katich not play again? Solid opener and talk of him being fit for the final test. Seems a good option for me. Far better than the number 11 Hughes!
Not a case of Ponting's eyes going, nothing wrong there as he is still quality in the slips. Just going through a bad patch of form and showing what a terribe captain he really is!
O'Keefe looks alright but not really someone that is gamechanging or a break-through spin bowler which is something they desperately need.
Currently SOK is the only Australian spinner to average below 30 in F/C, so he must be worth a punt.

Time isn't on Katich's side. 35 yo. How he has recovered from a slight tear in his Achilles in 2 weeks I'll never know!!!

I personally hate Haddin and wish his cricket flops

Not more arrogant (No Swearing Please) in my days refused a picture with us and insulted my mate than ran off at the SCG

Australia are poor even the best captain in the world would struggle to motivate this bunch of very average cricketer

Lol yeah, loved Shane Warne's quip about him buying a round...NOT! I thought Prior was unlucky, seemed to hold in the pitch a tad, though he might just have been early- decent catch by Punter though...

Prior's gone....agree with the prediction that we will get bowled out just after lunch, hopefully with a lead of 450+!

Dom, you're on the forum again. Haven't seen you on here for a while. I think if Bresnan hangs about, 450-500 lead would be great, very likely!

katich gives aus a massive amount of stability, theyll keep him in that side until he can shuffle across those stumps no more!

An amazing fightback by Australia. I'd actually put them as slight favourites now.

I wasn't implying of any fightback, just that Siddle has shown his team-mates how to bowl on this pitch
