Jon, those all look lovely. The Lekka and the "GT" both look very similar in profile.

Ah, that will be due to me not getting low enough for the shot, as i didnt want to be lying in snow. The GT is a fair bit higher.

Assume thats heartwood on the edges of the hattori and GT rather than moisture?

Looks pretty dark on the GT.

Nice collection there though my friend

The heartwood on the GT wasn't visible until I oiled it. It is a really think sliver, probably could be sanded off easily.
