The first cricket box was used in 1874.  The first cricket helmet was introduced in 1974. So, it took 100 years for men to twig that their brains were also worth protecting.

yeh sorry just new product pics rather than anything new in regards to the helmet.....new helmet model will be coming out towards the middle of next year with any luck :D

I guessed you missed this comment Jon ;) They look quite nice, dunno why, but I like the look of the red pads, though I know they're a lower range! How much are those pads Tom? Could you PM me or answer on here please?

Premier pads are £50 + P&P they aren't any lower as such as are made to the same spec as the elite pads in terms of materials and protection :)
