Ok , Firstly , i prefer my bat English made ,  i Like to know where my bat is made and to my specified specks , I am not keen for this factory made bats where i don't know where they come from etc ,

this is my reason for an English made preferably custom made bat , and what about yourself

Interesting , may have a look at them , price depending off course , i would imagine they would be tad cheaper than leading manufacturers ?

I prefer English made, as Asian bats of similar quality are no cheaper. Not to mention my doubt about the mass production in Asia. Each bat simply cannt be given as much time to perfect it.

I love my custom Laver's, but also like RNS, BAS too much for feel / comfort and performance and absolutely value for money. SS are very good but pricey as well so rather would go for a custom bat in that price.

Too a point i agree with you Jon but think the better bats from Asia are as good as the UK counterpart

My old drama not being custom made and struggling to find one that suited me was hard it good that Asad is around he has some top quality Asian made bats and a very good choice.

I like English made in front of me and do not mind paying that little big extra for this

There are certainly some good looking ones around, particularly from CA from what I've seen.

I just can't see what more they offer. If we assume performance is equal and price is equal, I will go English every time. There has got to be a greater mark up/profit on Asian bats to which I resent.

Exactly. Someone is making a killing along the line. Asian bats are of course cheaper to make, otherwise brands would not outsource to have them made there. I'd happily buy and use Asian bats if their price reflected that.

Thats what got my goat about the sales thread the other day, that bat was offered with no provenance and was of a similar price to a H4L. I guarantee it cost less to make though.
