Looks a lovely blade Uzair. Would be interested to know if you are a right or left handed batsman, as the heartwood looks delicious on the LH's outside edge...I say keep the stickers too, not too much to worry about cosmetically when you have a bat that looks that damn good!

Jon - that's a very good idea. I didn't think of that so thanks mate :D that way bat will stay new and look new :D

PM7 - Agreed! The finishing is superb! The best finished bats I have till day rare Salix, MB Le and Newbery and I found this to be tad better than those. You seriously can't find a "unfinished" spot in the whole bat. Andrew's work is really impressive and worth extra buck

Johan - Unfortunately I'm a right hand batsman, would have loved to be a left hand :). Thanks I'll focus and enjoy the bat

That bat is a stunner! And it really does beg the question why it ended up in the "rogue bin"

Would Salix class this as a rogue for a flaw hidden by the stickers? Like a small knot? Or do you think it might be the loss of clarity on the grains through the heartwood on the bat?

Not that I think any of that detracts from what I'm sure is gonna be a beast come the start of the season!!

That is exactly what I am trying figure out, why it's Rogue? Hence, I posted loads of pictures so everyone can find the defect :)

Not too sure if there is a knot underneath the stickers. I think that small blemish might be the reason why it is was in Rogue bin.

I am knocking in the toe a lot as I fear the toes damage plus this bay has very thin toe

There may be some iron staining on the back of the bat, towards the toe - can't really see too well though

I think he's right, that must be it. If so, it's a very small cosmetic problem..and you've got a stunning bargain!! :)

Isn't it those black markings on the back of the bat near the toe label...? I don't know, I am assuming its cosmetic? I think Tom is better qualified to tell you though mate :)

Iron will often cause a blueish/dark stain in the bat, this will happen when iron is absorbed into the tree during the growing process. If thats all that is wrong with the bat then i would say you have an absolute bargain. It shouldnt have an effect on the performance of the bat from what i've been told.
