Terrible performance... Great performance on the other hand from India. Top batting from yuvraj and the rest and backed up by their bowlers.

We need so much, desire, heart, nous, balls, hard work, belief and team spirit. Other than that we are up there at the top.

I didn't think that our bowling was too bad apart from the fact that they didn't bowl enough different deliveries. When yuvraj, Sehwag, Gambhir and Dhoni all fire you know you are going to be up against it. Our battting apart from maybe kp, bopara and maybe Patel and Bell was just awful. There was no real fight that you need to chase down a total like that.

I'm not sure why they bother playing Bopara if he is going to be batting at 8? It's a total waste of his talent, I highly rate Ravi and he has yet to step up to his full potential but he has what it takes especially in India, great eye, every shot in the book and plays spin with ease. Give Ravi a chance up the order, Prior hasn't made a score for a while, give him another 2 games up the top if nothing comes of it, give Ravi a go. Not sure why Swann isn't playing either, he's the best spinner in the squad and if he isnt getting in the side in India, then where is he going to play? Samit is a handy bowler, but he is not as bigger threat, Samit will do a job, Swann is much more attacking, turns the ball much more, don't get me wrong though I think Samit is a great talent and should be playing, but I think they need to think long and hard and maybe play 2 spinners, then obviously Bopara will get the chop but its about time the side was picked on performance not merit. Horses for courses and what not.
