Isn't there 10 teams and each team has to have 5 indians but there were 48 only indian players in the auction with the rest being made up by unknown/uncapped indian cricketers. Hence why they have all sold for over the odds.

Shame that a guy who plays round our way didn't get into the Mumbai team, he had trials but that was the last I heard.

I think the issue was that I said I wasn't prepared to go out on the smash every night as I wanted to go to the nets and work on my forward defence. It didn't go down well with Shilpa Shetty or Preity Zinta  :o

I was only asking for $200,000 a season - I thought I would sell at least that many shirts on this site alone!! ;)

Jhunjhunwala (played for Mumbai Last year, not sure whom this year....) played as the overseas for a club quite near me, in Hertfordshire: Botany Bay, if any of you know of it... :)

Availability is playing a part with a few players as gayle can only play for two weeks so no one has bid as he is a must for this format plus pollard seemed to go cheap
