willow shavings look great, but personally i don't like 20 20 bats. Would you only use i for 20 20/limited over?

Honestly?

An uneven strip of heartwood and not straight grains.

Try and visualise it unstickered on ebay. How much would you pay then?

Looks very nice mate, I say if you want it, then go for it. Could prove to be a very clever investment. I see what you're saying about looks and the price, but looks aren't necessarily everything Jon, performance and the batsman are what count. Sure, it this was a sig I would be with you, but this is a slightly lower range..

To be fair Jon, that doesn't look as bad as some of the £200 off the shelf bats, if we're going to be picky about looks. Though I do think that you can get better looking clefts made for the price, but would they perform is the question. Do you know what weight that one is Ryan?

tbh it doesnt look that big for a 2.10, let alone a T20 one. although that may just be the camera angle

Lot of meat in that for 2.10. (Interesting, we've contradicted each other..I think there is a wider ranging middle here, may be talking utter crap though..). James does make a mean bat, from the examples I have seen, Even at light weights like some of Dave's I believe? :)

Oh don't bloody tell me thing you know I am perfectly aware of. The OP asked for thoughts, I gave mine. I can't look at a pic and determine performance, maybe you can.

The bat looks well made and finished and if you consider it worth it then buy it. If you don't want negative viewpoints then don't ask for opinions.

Laver are by their own admission 50% overpriced in the UK. IMO if you want something of that sort buy one of the Jokers that is for sale.

I was just stating it, as I thought it would instil a certain level of balance to the debate. You've got the one side and I'm just coming back with my views. I wasn't being confrontational, sorry if the comment has been misconstrued as being one of this kind. I didn't know they thought they were 50% overpriced, all I intended to do was suggest the positive viewpoints after the OP... :|

johan, are you 15 going on 50?? : |   I definately prefer the look of the joker to that laver and agree with jon on the look of the wood. Though I now using a super short handle and think I might only buy ssh in future, though availability is limited. Do laver probbably get their wood from js wrights?
