Procricket - Hope your PRO bat is better than this PRO bat
« on: January 16, 2011, 06:10:15 PM »

Got this bat today.

This is from a very trusted source and is one from ex-Kookaburra ENG sponsored player's kit bag. (Changed sponsors about 2 months back)

Weight 2.9
Grains - 10 all sapwood

The pick-up is light and balance is very good. The mallet just flies off the middle.

This is not a shop Kookaburra and has a light beige color toe guard as opposed to the green one that is put on the shop bats

Pro, if yuo are not happy with your ABM after seeing this then send that my way bud, always there to help my friends  ;) :D

erm not sure Morgan uses a Kahuma, ever has - or now ever will as he is sponsorerd by Slazenger.

This is a pretty looking bat though... does it have morgan written on the Handle?

he was not but i suspect this one was given to another Kook sponsored player who used Kahuna and re sticked it..

I know both players in question

If i do not like mine as you have seen mine before me it will go to you

Amazing how people's opinions change when it suits isn't it?

 :D

So some people can get bats made for pros but cannot call them that without getting a tirade from certain others, but some can take a random bat decide it is a 'pro' bat 'because someone said so' and we have to sit in awe?

please explain.......

The fact is if you know the origins of these bats you too would understand there not pro in anything they just were made from with a clear history and the fact you can even trace them right to the source unlike many on here......

And if that was not aimed at me sorry

Pro bat or not, it doesn't look anything special. A review once used would be good.

yes, I will review once I use it.

But it is definitely a cut above the loads and loads of Kooks I have seen being sold in shops.

Anyway, we make the Pro bats should special. Agreed that are a bit special, but the guys using them are more special/gifted and that adds to the performance they get out of their bats....

Like I said on another thread, a pro will time a ball better with a lower quality willow than a club player with a top end bat (be it a Signature or Cenko to name a few)

Yeah let us know how it goes as the performance is the key to these type of bats as with my one

Can the Kook owners on this forum, confirm wether the profile is a Kahuna or Blade or Ice? As far as I can make out it is does not look like a Kahuna

Did you say you thought it was Eoin Morgans' Yash? I guess other possibles would be Luke Wright and Steve Davies, if it has been stickered as a Kahuna...
