I'm definitely wearing a lid when it's no longer compulsory for me as I have seen a few people take some hits and although it doesn't happen very often, I'd rather not take the risk, especially as I'm used to wearing them.

I've always wondered this. Now I have a larger bag I could warrant getting one dependant upon the price and reviews!

Our keeper last summer got a riser off a dodgy pitch, wasn't wearing a helmet and ended up in hospital with a fractured cheekbone. He's been forced to wear a helmet ever since.

ive had bust lips and black eyes and cracked on tempal but never broke or hurt my self that bad lol

but will be wearing one this season and i will end up standing up alot more i think
