PW will correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that he makes all puma bats from the 4000 series up to the 6000.

Very happy with the service and end product. 13 nice straight grains, 2.8 with nice big edges (for the weight) and superb pickup. I'll upload the full pics and review if u get time tomorrow. Had a little knock up with it today and it looks like its going to be a beast :d

As far as I know the 5000 and 6000 are sent as handled clefts to be made by rob, the 4000 are Indian made and the best are finished by Rob

IMO someone who can make a 'big' 2.8 bat has real tallent and knowledge.  Lets face it, what bat maker of note cant make a big thick bat weighing 2.12

Received this email from Rob today, this should clean up any questions regarding the puma bats and responsibility rob has as the head Batmaker.

'Just so you know lad,
I select all the willow for Puma's UK production.
These are all then graded before being handled & pressed and selected for the 3 Puma profiles.
I make 90% of the 5000, 100% of the 6000's and around 80% of the 4000's. Hope this helps Liam.....then all players are looked after by us......

Interesting, one always assumes these big brands such as Puma have massive sales, but if one bloke makes the vast majority of their top 3 grades, there can't be that many.

They will have massive sales, but not of 6000s as most cannot afford these..
