M&H, should I get it ?
« on: February 06, 2011, 05:47:51 PM »

Again I'm with a 'to do or not to do thread' and this time I came across M&H and saw them going for a very good price and more importantly one of them it absolute beauty!!!

I have Salix, MB LE, GN Obvilion LE on its way so what do you guys suggest ? (these are 4 new bats for this season)

Your help will be highly appreciated!

Which M&H are you after?

I have seen a few Amplus and Distinctions and they are really good with great pick-up and balance.

ProDirect have them with close to 100 Pounds knocked off!

Personally I prefer low sweetspot one but the Harlequin they have is absolute stonker!

I think you should tell me where you're getting it from and which one - I will check it out and buy it myself if it's as good as you say advise you fella!  ;)

CD, despite asking several times for someone to justify the price MH charge I've not heard a good reason. Looks are generally less than most other brands. Honestly mate, it's not going to offer you anything more than the bats you have now.

CD, what about the Newbery you bought last season. Do you think you need another new bat for the season?

Here is the page which has the three M&H they have in stock, they had Distinction and Original but both were snapped my mates.

http://www.prodirectcricket.com/lists/millichamp-and-hall-cricket-bats.aspx

The bat they are sending out is the one pictured and if you zoom in at Harlequin you'll see how good it is! Grains are superb!

Opener Bhai, that is what is confusing me. I'm very confused but I think that these sort of deals won't come everyday...

Jon, have a look at the page and it has prices..the price displayed is basically what I'll pay including shipping to Canada.

I'm pretty sure actual bat pictures because a mate bought and received Distinction and he got exactly the one pictured...

So guys what are you thoughts?

Both good looking bats. I prefer the solution. Just a note on the bats, the solution is 2-8 but the harlequin is 'medium' weight!!! So is it the actual bat?
