Well i saw nurse helen, who is known for being the worst nurse in town and all she could say is hmmmm its not right (which i knew) and referred me to hospital. Had mri there and have a what is either acute tear of the muscle or chronic tear on tendinitus (spelling?) the results are due any day now with which, it was an odd one as cant remmeber having a bash which rules out acute, too young to possibly have chronic so maybe tendinitus one (i may have made that word up or its something esle but it is something like that!) but all is not right once i get above sort 60` degress upwards...

my mum side has a history of shoulder (and a few elbow) problems!

Can you not do anything above 60 degrees plus? Would be strange if it was tendinitis and that was the case as well, tendinitis makes it hurt a bit but doesn't really prohibit you from doing anything, it's more of a 'next day killer' sort of thing. Although saying that, I've only had patellar tendinitis, so I wouldn't know about shoulder area! It could be an acute tear, you wouldn't needed to have hit anything I don't think, but I'm no doctor so don't quote me!

Inners wont stop ya breaking a finger mate lol watch the ball nicely into the palms....;0) serious note I tend to like unpadded chamouis inners, padding lessens the feel and the ball can bounce. Saying that I will proberbly give em a go, slave to kit that i am!!!!

Mate it sounds like a rotator cuff injury, best case scenario is 6-8 weeks physio or worst surgery and a season out!

i did one of them and couldnt throw a ball but my bowling action was still fine just hurt when reaching up ur back with ur arm behind u....surgery was the end result tho as it got progressively worse and ended up with a total rupture of my bicep...so just a cep lol

yeah they did say rotator cuff, but there are several types i think. At first they thought it may be ac separation but its definately not!

Hopefully it wont be too bad, but still looks like a season or so without throwing! plus my club is in need of a keeper, i think i may take a season out and practice hard on batting and keeping then go from there if its bad.

Guys.  Sorry I missed this topic.  If you have a look in the 2011 Catalogue thread you'll find more information on the new KPR inners.
