Woakes isn't quick enough and could get destroyed on these pitches...

I said you should get one of your lids to Jade...!!

Dernbach is (in my opinion) a decent selection. Very quick, bit of movement in the air, gets seam movement as well from what I remember. Can be expensive but considering there are a lot of flat decks, I don't think he'll exactly be the only person to get a bit of tap if he plays.

Nice to see more Surrey players in the England squad.

Dernbach is a good choice, good chance of pace and gets reverse swing

Have you heard him in interviews he sounds like such a sweet guy! Love his deflection to fine fine third man, such a classy shot.should have been playing it in the pavilion though not out in the middle, granted!

Having met the guy, I can tell you he's anything but ...

Plays good cricket tho, and that is *all* that matters...

That is poor form by Ponting. I can't believe he didnt walk after clearly edging it, I can honestly say that what he just did is very un Aussie

or if your Indian, then thats very Aussie like, ahah ;). I always find it rich when they say Aussies are cheats seeing as the only walker I have ever seen who got called back but kept going, is Gilchrist on 2 occasions.

It's well known Aussie batsmen are told not to walk as most batsmen don't these days

I don't think it's nation-related about walking!!
There are very few batsmen who walk these days!!! Gilly used to walk but I don't think anyone else stands out as being that honest!
