By Christ those new SS at Uzi look good, I just cannot justify the price when I can get summut made here for less.

Doesn't mean you'll suffer in performance. A Heritage @ £120 is great value.

Indeed, without stickers, a bat will refuse to perfrom, ahahahha :)

I thought about purchasing a custom made bat, however, my other bat has died and I need a new one as we are getting into the pointy end of the season now with 3 games to go plus finals. I didnt wan't to use a bat which has pretty much no middle anymore, and ordering a custom bat might take some time, so I went with the Gladiator as it is already made and it looked great, plus Asad said it was the best of the ones I liked. I also didn't want to pay the crazy prices for a top bat at an Australian store.

The only place that sells SS in Australia that I know of is Kingsgrove sports, even then they only have 1 top class bat and it's the Platnium and it costs  $615/£365. I got the gladiator for $385/£250 with postage and handling included. So I save $230/£143. With the savings I can buy 2/3 pairs of gloves.

I just hope it gets here soon.

with the great products and service with the $AUD trading above parity it makes little sense to buy domestically in Australia at the moment. Try buying a GM LE, Kook Players, GN players, etc and you're looking at $750......

Thanks Asad, do you know how long it usually takes for a shipment to arrive in Australia?

When I was younger I always bought from GC and Kingsgrove, but now thanks to the forum I have so many more outlets I can purchase from, which are cheaper and have much more choices as in like SS, CA, BAS, plus all the uk brands Newbery, Salix etc. In Australia, not many stores sell this gear and I don't know why.
