I saw the review on Wisden's website which gives the Naga Joloikia Pro 5*, but I haven't used one of the bats myself...

Sitonit,

Are you anything to do with Piri Piri?

Good question Jon. My suspicions were also raised.

Just struck me as odd. Perfectly good and potentially innocent question asked, but why the advertising?

He is just asking the question and making people aware of what the products are...

Surely though, given the discussion of brands like Ace, you'd expect a bat forum to know of piri piri? Especially with it's Wisden award?

Maybe we are just too sceptical, some of us.

No one has pounced, no accusations have been made. A simple question has been asked, that's all.

Changing the subject to the bats, id personally say they are not for me. The willow might be good but i think the stickers are horrific. Only my opinion tho...

Bit too loud for me the stickers and the wisden review sounded like they rated it because of the stickers first then the bat so not overly reliable

IMO a better question to ask than "has anyone spoken to......."

Piri Piri bats that I saw at the trade show were very good - picked-up well and tapped-up well too.

I find the stickers a bit too un/non serious and possibly more appealing for younger cricketers
