Yeah, I thought England too mate. Still a possibility though if you have a couple of good seasons at 1s level mate

- very good to be playing county, I'd love to, but need to hone my skills I think..plus I hear you have to be super-fit! Not something I am unfortunately, have to get in the gym I suppose!

Hope you have a good season though, do you guys have winter nets?

Yea Ive improved massively this winter, its being able to train with some of the academy boys, makes you realize the level you need to get to

yeh having people like that to train with tho helps when they make u raise ur game and pass on tips and advice.....not that i ever made it beyond county trials for glos but did get to rep for Bristol back in the day @ 17

Played county since age of 13 for lancashire, just about to start u19's training

Been offered a trial with worcestershire 2nd's / academy!

I play at a fairly low level for Newington CC, we aren't a serious club (we field three teams regularly but haven't got a home ground).

Might start looking for a new club tbh, dislike playing under a different captain every week, especially when they stick you out on the boundary all innings then bat you down at 8.
