On a difference note, does Alex know when GN are going to update their website to a 2011 edition. It still shows Xiphos and has nothing about Oblivion, Legend, Quantum, etc...

Ok, can someone tell me which is better... Extreme Pro or Limited Edition....?

Extreme Pro's tend to be much larger in profile and weight (e.g rarely under 2.12) but not always quite as nice as L.E

Excuse me for a dumb question but Evo Carbo has a carbon core handle ala C6 of Newbery correct ?

Carbo handles are 12 piece cane handles,cork springs and a layer of carbo fibre fitted externally to the base of the handle under the binding to try and decrease the  amount of damage from ball strikes up by the splice are. There is not any Carbon inside the handle

Also, what can you tell us about the Powerbow profile in the pictures? It looks like a Jumbo rather than a traditional Powerbow profile?

Thisisi the profile that we changed the powerbow profile to for 2010 and we have stuck with it for 2011    (lets just say I preferred the old shape!)

Cheers Alex, so this handle does have a splice unlike the ones which are illegal to use at international that don't have splice.

Old Powerbow shape was MILES better than this new one.

We don't have any lying around, they can be made but only on special orders, you would have to find a retailer and get them to contact us to see if it is possible

I wish I could, all I can say is there is one guy who works here who swears by them when playing indoor cricket.

I'm assuming it will be very expensive ? Do you have rough idea regarding the price ?

Basically it is a Predator which Mohammad Yousuf used back in 2006 when he was at his peak!

Like Newbery bats. But I must admit that I am liking the direction GN are going and have some pretty impressive models! And after looking at the Uzi website, it looks as though Asad picks some very lush bats!

Thanks Pete, my aim is to visit each supplier and pick up the best bats according to my knowledge. I have also built up good relationship with many suppliers who are happy for me to come and hand pick my bats

There really are some lovely bats in his shop! If I had the money when I last visited I'm sure I would've walked out with more than a few.
