I will be surprised if they are making any profit from selling these bats for �150 unless GM have been extraordinarily generous to them and given them bats at GM's cost price which is highly unlikely unless these were seconds bats.

So, either these are seconds bats or 2010 bats with 2011 stickers (highly unlikely) or the pic on the website is of a 2011 bat but the stock being sold is 2010.....

Edward, any chance you could solve this puzzle/mystery???

I would guess it's just a mis-price and that the voucher code wasn't necessarily meant for use with these bats. With the price discounted twice it makes them very cheap

Progress Report.

So far I have received two emails from them telling me they are very sorry and they still don't have stock of my very cheap GM Luna Original. I have asked a question as to when they expect to get stock so will keep the update running.

It's looking like a too good to be true web offer...

I think it might be just that.

Our dealings with the organisation behind that website are complicated, to say the least. I guess if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!

It wouldnt matter if GCCC stocked SS bats, because they would sell them for $550-$650 AUD. That's how they work, they mark every thing up so much.

Example: When I bought some pads of Julian while having my bat made, they were $90 AUD, but in the GCCC they were selling for $150 or so, so they had marked it up by around 40%. So they just make everything so expensive.

The only problem with SS becoming popular, is that they will inevitabley become more expensive due to their popularity.

They can always say the item is no longer in stock, i ordered a top online the other day in the sale and they just refunded me the money saying unfortunately that item is no longer in stock

I'm waiting to see, as they keep telling me they'll get it to me... And they haven't taken the money yet, as per the usual process. Payment taken on despatch!

No, and what they said was that basically they were having trouble with suppliers, along the lines of what Edward alluded to in this thread previously.
