What pads does everyone own, and what would they reccommend. I need a new pair but havent a clue which to buy.

If you look on ebay there a nice set of Salix pads and the Bradbury S500 in the 39-55 pound market

There the ayrtek pads which look nice and the Bulldog ones as well and then there Asads SS onsomble to have a look at.

Oh forgot H4l they have some rather striking soft goods.

Depends on your budget as well

My budget is about £35, hence me not getting flextech 5000's..
I was looking at the SS ones, but don't know whether theyre worth it, and the new adidas ones

ok

recently had

chase 175 pro (there too bulky)
hunts county clipper (my top tip cheapish and perfectly padded not to much just right and light)
Puma are good but too expensive and no better than a smaller brand

I would look around io have seen a blank set and a pair of gloves for 25 pound on ebay which look very good

Get the SS gladiators off Asad for £30.....best keeping pads on the market

Are they actually very good? I was sceptical as from the pics they don't look great quality? Although i have some SS gloves and theyre amazing..

I picked up a used pair for £15 on here, would used not be any good to you? A lot of bargains to be had then..Paddy had some V Sports ones, which were very similar in design - yes, they were used, but you can't go far wrong at £12!!

I'd prefer new tbh, just because i know they'll last as long as possible, and i like new things haha.
