One of the 'quicks' in the 1s is always giving it out, verbals, short stuff, banter (and this is just nets) and was batting on Sunday. Mate of mine, only a kid at 18, was asked to bowl at him by the captain. He's a bit nippy, no attitude, just a kid who loves his cricket. Anyway, sent a few short ones down at him, nothing savage, and the bloke walks up to him in front of everyone and says "bowl at me like that again and I'll knock you out"

Was the nail in the coffin for me. Outrageous behaviour from someone who A:should know better and B:can give it out all day long to anyone yet when someone younger (and better) than him gives him a bit back, he goes off like that.

No time for that at all, so said you can all swing
That is outrageous, we have a bloke like that who gets stroppy when the 1st team bowler bowls short and that, he come out of the net and hit a cone and someone shouted thats the best shiot you've hit all night and he threatened to kill him

People like that only start on the kids and when they have their clique backing them up, no time for it at all. I know I have made a good shout doing it, and the lads I am with now have taken me in and they all respect eachother and have a laugh. Can't wait to get cracking for the season now.

And Roco mate - would be good if you could make it over...could even drop down for a game ;)

If I dropped down would get told off again as did fir one game last season as was going out and needed to play at home knocked 131 not out and did not here the end of it but we are away at lillieshall that day and is the worst pitch in the league something like 14/20 1st xi innings there were around 100 all out as us a shocking and dangerous pitch that the league refuse to do anything about so should be back early
