We all remember the day last week where
that bat became available out of the blue. We remember secretly wondering what our wives would fetch on the open market. We all went through a 'what if' stage.
Well. Seeing as that bat seems to have a price tag of £500 plus, I thought it best to look elsewhere. It really did pain me to say no to the Sig, but it was the only sensible thing to do. By complete luck and good fortune that highly regarded get-you-anything (my accountant describes him differently) bat dealer Mr Brimble had made his return on the very same day. Now, knowing I am weak and that a couple of well worded emails could set a deal in stone, the highly regarded get-you-anything ((No Swearing Please)) bat dealer offered me the following bat. 23 painfully straight even grains, the stuff we expect legends to look like. I cannot tell you the exact story behind this one but suffice to say it was intended for better things than I. I have by complete accident fallen on some luck here.
So here we go, poor images as I got back when the sun had already departed. Better to follow when time allows.
Binka has a better eye for bats than me, I think he approves...
Happy me.
