if the sky commentators make one more reference to india winning the 1983 world cup, im going to turn my tv off... i dont care!!!!!!
In the same area, if I hear one more mention about India's "gloriously long line-up" I'm gonna put my foot through the telly. They bat to 6. Pathan's a slogger, Harbhajan's a slogger, Khan's a slogger, Chawla can bat. Sick of it.

Oh, and I do not like Sachin Tendulkar, and not just for his batting abilities!

My prediction is coming true! 300+ and even though India's weak link is their bowling, I still can't see us chasing anywhere near this! We should have bowled more wicket to wicket with subtle variation, which I think India will, as they will vary their bowling to the home conditions! But I can see England batsmen getting themselves out and playing shots they don't need to!

I can see a 220ish all out sort of a job here.

Gonna stick my neck out here, we needed someone like Broad in place of Anderson. Or Tremlett. Both would have been very good on this pitch. Both have good variations, both have decent control. Bresnan did the job today, no-frills, just honest line-length bowling with good variations and wonderful control. We need more Yorkshiremen. Badly.

In any normal conditions Anderson is an excellent bowler, which he has proved. But these flat Asian conditions are so not suited to him! I tend to agree that Tremlet would have been a good choice, but as he would be seen as a risky choice and we only so 'safe' choice, then that was never going to happen!
We miss Broad, both for batting and bowling. But Delhi belly obviously hit hard!  :(
As I said in my post before the match started, India will score 300+ and England all out for 220-230!
