It was a close game in the end. We scored 205 which we thought was 20-30 short and they got off to a good start so things were looking ominous, but each time we got a wicket we seemed to get another shortly after and then they would have a partnership build and would catch up with the rate. They ended up about 20 runs short in the end but was touch and go at times. Glad to hear things are going well at the top of the order mate, looks like the change in position has worked for you.

Dammit no Lords this year, we (Cublington CC) got badly beat my Great Brickhill  on Sunday- i was run out by ex skipper for one! Played an on drive wide of midwicket, call yes, and he isnt looking t me. Arrive at his end and he tells me no!

Buckinghmashire, so Home Counties? Brickhill play 3 divs above us and we didnt embarrass ourselves- had a few players missing which was disappointing. also, by the time our entire side had turned up, they had been warming up for half an hour! at least 5 guys pitched 15 minutes late, pisses me right off!

On a side note, one of their guys was rushed to hospital- took a load of skin off his leg during warm up, and had a seriously bad reaction to an antiseptic wet wipe! His lips went blue apparantly was tad scary. they had a 12th man who fielded.
