I will try and get all my bats together over Easter and get some pictures up
I'm planning on getting my Vintage collection out, dusting off it and the camera and taking a few photos to add to this one...
That'll take the whole of Easter to get them all together :o
Something like that mate still got about 30 in the car from Saturday lol
That bats in your boot are worth more than my car is lol :-[

Is that a xiphos?
Here is my collection of bats, a variety of colours, shapes and weights.
when that mongoose comes available, please let me know @wayward_hayward
I don't plan to any time soon @tommo256! Used it at nets on Monday and it flies off the middle.
is it not all middle?
@wayward_hayward , that GT looks amazing! What's the weight of that beauty?
@Chad , any 2-12 (or 2-13) with a bow and a nice thin oval handle? High middle preferred but duck-bills are acceptable too. Let me know.
What's the weight of the M&H-09? I need one more bat to round out my net sessions.
Some lovely looking lower grade H4Ls @Chad!
@Chad lovely collection, took me a while to see the second row in last pic!
Is that my battered b3 butterfly in the keep pile??
@Chad
Love that darker laver!
Fantastic collection by the way
Can we keep this to topic and remember there is no pm selling.
@Chad if you are wanting to sell some of your bats please use the sale section! Thanks.
Lovely bats... Those argons mmmmm. In fact generally serious willow!
@d7bow :o :o :o :o, I am green with envy! looks like a cracking set of bats their.
How many Grains on that B3!!!!
Question on your LW's......when you do a ping test, do they sound different to a normal bat?
The distinction looks lovely, they made 3 they put on Twitter a week or two ago, was seriously tempted to get one!!Lad I play cricket with bought the 2-14 one. Looks lovely from the picture he posted
My rather small collection

Everytime I go to the county ground I swing their Chase bats. Got to say I love the Volante's.
Any chance of a closer look at that Puma :) Must be kept in bubble wrap?!
Hey @WalkingWicket37 - what happened to the GN500?
Lad I play cricket with bought the 2-14 one. Looks lovely from the picture he posted

That would be amazing but his health is more important!
Although I agree.
I'm sure he was denying up an academy/apprentice thing. That would take up a lot of this time for a few years Atleast.
Surely a 25 bat cbf special won't be as hard on his health as 3 years of teaching people.
So after the CBF meeting the follow actions are as below;
Chris to contact 'the Podmaster'.

JB has the GP 274 ever been used ?
The CK22 is the bat we used Dave, goes very well indeed! I know a lot of people dislike M&H but the ones I've had have been nothing short of awesomeDon't think people dislike M&H.....they only dislike the underhanded way M&H work! Getting bats from elSSewhere and then charging huge prices for them as if they are UK made from start to finish? I suspect that is the case at least!
@smilley792 Chris I think the jester is 2.11ish before a 2nd grip, loads of glue, tape and a large dollop of shoe goo. The reason for all that lot is a friend had smashed the RH outside edge to bits and glued it minus the clamping so it's really uneven. After some advice from Ryan I added a few more layers of glue (although it's not even still) and taped it up. My mate in the mean time had bought another one so it's stayed in my bag. Only played one few over midweek game and used it - when you just play normally and connect it does fly! The rest of the time we use it as a warm up on a Saturday.
I'll bring it along to our next net (I need to have a good nosey at your Toro and thin edge / high spine b3).
@Andythomo21 didn't intentionally buy one Andy, I had a cheeky bid on a raffle for a pure blade as it's similar profile to the GM I have and ended up winning. Upon picking it up I noticed a split right down one of the grains (shame really as it was a real looker and at 2.11 perfect). Had a chat with Leafy and he suggested popping into the factory and so ended up with a 2.13 Colossus as that's all they had made up. I literally work 10 minutes from the factory so nice to have a nosey round as I've not had a kippax for 8 years or so. 3 bats for using on a Saturday is a bit much for my ability but looking forward to playing it in and giving it a whirl had contemplated a 3lb but thought that was a bit ambitious! Although picked up lighter than it's dead weight, they also had a Colossus + in which makes smileys warner GN look small.
A Bernie Facer Baronet.
First set (Will post the next set later this week)
First set (Will post the next set later this week)
H4L is the match bat now. If i get to bat up the order then i use the plain without stickers B3 as that is lighter. RS is for big hitting in the end ;)
That BB looks wonderful.. MmmmhMhh
That RNS on far right looks huge!
The RNS looks like a railway sleeper :)
ThatTalismanLarssons has some really big edges to it :o
Unfortunately I don't have any pictures at the moment but I've had some awesome bats in the past, baring in mind I'm only 19 I've had a fair selection of decent bats.
Senior bats:
Willostix Anaconda- this bat was very consistent for me with a solid middle that I started my adult career with
Willostix Spitfire- I've had this bat for 3 seasons and has been fantastic for me. I hit my first ever six with this bat as well as my first ever 50
Willostix Spitfire (2015/16)- I bought this bat at the very end of last season and hasn't been used yet but I'm looking forward to using it
You are probably the youngest guy i know on this forum ! Do post some pictures of Willowstix. Heard so many good things about this brand ....When I get a chance I will take some photos and post them. My three Willostix adult bats are all still in use and going strong even though one of them is nearly five years old and had a lot of batting time in it. My newest Spitfire has an awesome pick up and responds well off the mallet so I'm looking forward to using it. I was given an Anaconda by a mate when I was 15 and it was way too heavy for me to play games with but it was a nice slogging bat that I used in the nets a lot and it also helped me get my hands up to play the hook and pull which I had previously struggled with.
What happened to last year's? Looks in good shape?@Alvaro yes mate its still in a very good shape. I keep following these guys on FB, found these 2 irresistible....so just stocked them :D
Couple missing that i only realised as i was putting them away

@smilley792 as OP, what does your ensemble look like today?

COR! @wayward_hayward that Monger looks nice. What grade/weight is that?
@JB your collection is of my dreams! And unlike most on here in weights I can actually use.(any weight your happy with people is a good weight)
Wish you was my team mate so I could try them all out.
still remember the ck22 lovely bat if it the same one I used...
The red ink, GM and blank have the grip the right way round. It's the Salix and kookaburra? That are upside down
They're just grips.... I just roll them up and put them on.
?
Since the grip is supposed to prevent the bat from slipping in one specific direction (down the hands) only and not the other way (i.e. "slipping" up the hands which generally doesn't happen anyway), there could be one "better" direction than the other..not necessarily for all grip types, but potentially for some.. For e.g., I always observed that for snake/fish scale grips, the 'C' always faces downwards out of the factory/store, meaning that is the supposed direction? But yea, not many would care :)
Here is my collection.

@Turn Of Pace nice collection mate! Especially your warsop and b3 look like stunner. What are their specs?
Couldn't get two bats further apart in the design philosophy!
@KW9221 B3 and GN are different profiles. B3 is TKC pepsi shape with 70mm spine and 45mm edges with Mid profile. GN50+ is longblade 55mm edge and 73mm spine in Mid to high profile. I am getting my GN50+ copied by B3 now.I thought your B3 was somewhere around 35mm edge size especially being next to GN 50+. Your GN 50+ is a monster mate.
Intersting edge sticker on the 2016 Kahuna.
Never seen that before.
Good spot.
Can only assume it was standard on Non-UK Kahunas?
For all of these collections we need to know which are the best, which are the most disappointing etc.
No we don't - they're all great and simply sharing should suffice :)
I did have lots of info about each bat, but then the Wifi dropped off.....CBA to re-write it all.
@Churchy1989 what the hell is going on with the toe of the RK?
I believe it had a argument with the sander :D
that is mental you could use a different bat every game
Those three screaming cats @Cover_Drive, gee wiz!
Here are my top 18, I didn't picture the remaining ones which exceeds the aforementioned figure because I don't rate them highly!!(http://i889.photobucket.com/albums/ac91/minhasuz/IMG_0060_zps0pzdjsq8.jpg)

Sad not to see powerbow 3* @Cover_Drive
Isn't it interesting. All you really needed was that first bat from years ago...
@Cover_Drive , in terms of performance, are those Screaming Cats better than any other bat you have ?
Cant work out how to post images from my phone on here so here is a link to just a small section of my bats

@jd163 I have found that the grading is mainly about how it looks.
The 1 stripe mullinator is an absolute gun and performs better than the 3 stripe. Haven't used the Pepsi yet as I'm saving that for a march bat but taps up well, I imagine it will be a lot more forgiving if I don't find the middle than the others but they are all awesome when you time the ball
@Buzz haha
..., it's becoming more difficult to hide them from the wife

Well, took out the bats the other day, and was pretty shocked as to the number I've accumulated. Here's pics of the core collection. :)
Safe to say I'm a little disgusted by this, but here's my collection in 4 categories!
To be culled by the end of the year:

Bats I'm unsure as to whether to keep or not (Will probably sell about 6 of these on):

Hi Chad,
Is that the Old GM Purist Orignal? Looks amazing
It is indeed @brycenz and it goes as well! I bought it from @Chad last spring. It's a lovely blade!
my favorite ever bat - perhaps cause I used it as a youngster and scored my fledgling runs with it. still searching similar out there

@Churchy1989 that 50/50 :o :o :o@JTtaylor145 the Scimitar is 2.7 the 50/50 is 2.12 with edge of around 47-9 mm
@JTtaylor145 the Scimitar is 2.7 the 50/50 is 2.12 with edge of around 47-9 mm
is the 50/50 one of H4Ls low density customs or is it a standard 50/50?
It's a custom i guess, Matt made it and I turned it down as i didn't have funds, an hour later i was like....it's massive, must buy.
@LBWCandidate nice collection mate. Which one is your match bat?
Nice collection @Chad !
Which bats are your match bats?
Damn @Chad! Planning on selling any old ones. :D
Wow! Just interested in the heaviest and lightest in your collection. Most used and least used. Ones you would never part with and ones you would be happy to get rid of, also your favourite shapes and stickers.
The smell of linseed must be intense!
Thanks for sharing.
@Chad, If I remember correctly, you had an M&H Master (ST inspired bat), didn't you? Still have it?
And @Chad, normally, I'd say that I hate you :D but this time around, I feel I have some nice bats too. :D
@InternalTraining nope, I've never had an M&H Master, I did have an Amplus at one point! I do have some Sachin inspired shapes, with this BDM 'The Game Edition' being the most special. Weighs around the 2lb 9.5oz mark:

Figured I'd bump this thread, since a lot of the pics have been erased by Photobucket. :)
I've tried to arrange them according to brand/manufacturer, but obviously made a few mistakes. :-[

Many of these way too good for my terrible standard.. B3s are The old shan masood profile, my modified Finch, and the 32.2 shape. Lavers are MH Mega and “Kohli” shape copies. GMs are stokes and travis shapes.
Problem with Instagram is that you can't easily zoom in on the photos, or is there a way? . Not ideal when trying to see the grains on a bat. But they do look lovely.

“Give or take a few oz” ;)
@brokenbat yes am I missing something?
haha, just teasing you mate.. because "2lb 9oz plus minus a few oz" is literally the entire range of possible bat weights ;)
All my current bats with exception of my new GM Siren which is at home.
All 2.9 give or take a few oz and 3 x L540 length bats here and 3 traditional SH bats
Probably the least I have had in the last 5 years but plan to keep it that way for a while now

The quality of the finishing on the Salix really stands out when you see it next to other bats
Was it you I sold that GM Catalyst too?
@potzy248 , how's that Screaming Cat? Ping?
My collection. Have 2 more stuck in Oz because of the Lockdown so they will be here later on.

Some great looking collections... I either sell or move on before getting another.
Currently down to 3 bats. I'd feel guilty having so many beauties and feel they deserve a home as I'd be wasting them. That's not a dig at anyone just personal.
I tried this and you can see how well it went 😂
I think I'd feel much the same as you if I ever bought really expensive bats but mine are all sub-£230. By my reckoning the collection is the equivalent of having three G1 customs so it doesn't seem quite so daft!

Where are the grips from Jimbo?
That’s a fair collection!!
Some lovely bats there,,I really need to make myself a butterfly
I’ve recently purchased a dehumidifier for the room that I keep my bats in and cannot get over how much water it takes out of the air and how much it lowers humidity levels.
Any experts that can tell me the optimal settings that would be for perfect bats?
Why would you want over dry the air environment your bat is kept in?
Mine are all now out in the garage fattening up over winter, ready for next year.
I don't think leaving it in the garage is recommended either... Sealing the bat and leaving in a cool and dry room is what is generally recommended for storage

Don’t want to over dry just wondered about the best humidity level for storage over winterTrying to remember but I’m sure GM keep everything to around 18 degrees
