Tbh, that's a bit of a **** approach by you forcing someone out the club just because you didn't like it
I didn't force anyone out, he quit after being dropped down the order. Thats a pretty selfish attitude if u ask me & at that time many were fed up of him.
At nets he belted it around yet come the season he lost us so many games with his selfish batting. When he took an age to score a run that final straw for many people. Trying to chase down a total & some chap is batting out maiden after maiden. Not much fun. Could hardly chase down anything over 160 as he would kill games.
I knew he could hit if and I saw no reason why the skipper kept him opening so I moved him to 7. Like I said he whacked a quick fire 40 and went off moaning after the game. People were not sad that he left.
Ive just remembered as well one game our skipper promoted himself up the order & ran this chap out in the same over with a shocker of a yes no call as he was batting to slow. He had previously shouted at him " hurry up, Ive got my whole middle order sat here padded up"
