It's value for money for me, best spec at the best price so not likely to match. However, being fairly new to this forum, it does appear that I missed a bit of a bargain with the slightly lower range Nixon batting pads and gloves, which were very well priced and looked good spec. Happy with what I did get though.

My kit on the outside is all Gray Nicolls.
Gray Nicolls Oblivion bat.
Gray Nicolls Oblivion 5 star gloves.
Gray Nicolls Nitro players pads.
But an Albion helmet.
It's not that I want to boost my ego and look sponsored I just love Gray Nicolls.
But the inside is mix and match...

All the same for me ;)

I think if you buy from one brand you can often negotiate a slight discount.

Already planning mine for next year! I want plain ish straight caned pads, plain ish gloves (GM LE probably) and then the bat will be an exact copy of my favourite bat, sourced by mike and fitted with the white/black RK stickers.

I buy protection in the sales. This year I got lucky and ended up with matching pads and gloves. First time for everything...

Exactly. When I bought my pads it came down to the XXX Customs and a pair of Puma Irridium 4000 pads. The Pumas were lighter, but the GNs were more comfortable and that got them over the line.
