Rome wasn't built in a day...we have only been around 3 years comparred to Albion who have been around since 1980 in the helmet market......yet within 2 years of us designing and releasing our helmet Albion are now starting to copy our sales lines and materials that we use 
F1 technology/carbon fibre materials!!! if we are that suspect why is this
P.S perhaps you would like to compare the Keith Barker incident in our helmet with your namesake Ricky Ponting's or Daniel Flynn's in their Albion's
No look if I'm honest I personally would rather one of yours than Albions if I was buying purely on safety, but my point was that Albion have built up credit (rightly or wrongly) over the years that their helmets have been used at the top level.
I should point out that to pick the Ponting and Flynn incidents isn't really fair because for those incidents there are also many times when the helmets have stood upto the ball and the batsman has been fine. Albion's ahve been used at the top level for so long that those incidents form only a tiny % of the times that batsmen have been hit...we can only judge after Ayrtek's have been used in test cricket for 10 years and we can then prove they are safer. At the moment we can only say that in 1 out of 1 incidents the Ayrtek was safe, in 2/10000 incidents the Albion failed.
Anyway the long and short of it is that I'm with Ayrtek, Tom they're clearly much safer, but my only point was that Albion have built up some kind of credit over the years. What I want is the cost of a top line helmet to be reduced...I can't fork out as much as your carbon fibre jobs cost! For the majority of people any lid will be safe, its only when facing 85 plus that you want 'the safest' lid...I'd love one but cost and looks are the issue.
