I tried these on the other day at Owzat. I already bought a pair of the Puma Tricks however I took them with me (as I got them online from owzat) just incase I decided to change them for the Asics. They are lighter than the Puma Tricks, however when I tried them on they didn't feel as comfortable. I think these Asics would be better for batting in than the Pumas as there isn't as much padding on the sole of the shoe, so you would be closer to the ground and also they are lighter so you would be able to manouver better around the crease. However for overall use I would say the Puma Tricks are better as they offer more comfort, both on the bottom on the shoe but also around the whole shoe. I feel as though they would be better if you're using your spikes for bowling, fielding and batting rather than changing them to bat in etc. Also they offer better protection around the whole shoe which comes important when batting incase you nick one onto your foot.
Got sum new Advance 3's today, much more padding at the back than the previous Aussie version iv got so should mean they don't cause me immense pain when wearing them.....which will be nice!
I suspect so... I'd love to know who at Asics approved the addition of a suede section on the inside of the heel. You dont notice it trying them on in a shop but after a few hours of cricket everyone is in agony.
Man up Canners! What socks do you wear? I wear the '1000 miles' socks and they make all shoes feel like slippers
