New Zealand may not have the best players in the World, but they certainly have one of the best coaches the games ever seen.

John Wright is so mentally strong and he has now managed to pass this on to both International sides sides he has coached.

I have a theory that the world cup being held in India is actually a disadvantage to the Indian team. You see, that the other teams have all now been in India for over a month has caused their performances and skill levels to improve due to the phenomenon as 'rubbing off'. This happens when lesser, opposing teams come into contact (less that 1000 nautical miles) of the mighty Indian team* (blessed be the ground they tread on) and due to the Indian team being so much better than any other, their pure skill actually rubs off on the other teams. It's kind of like drinking sea water. Like water, skill travels from high to low concentrations.

So after a month, due to their extended proximity, all visiting teams are now more skilled at not only cricket, but at making tv ads which are shown every 6 seconds for some kind of dodgy spiritous liquor. Thus, by being so much better than the rest, the Indians have actually disadvantaged themselves by being so good.

Toss is very critical. Chasing under lights is tough in Columbo, plus dew will nullify spinners.

The only teams for some reason I can't see winning the World Cup are Sri Lanka and New Zealand.
