Another decent game yesterday, got 65* at a decent rate putting on 130 for the 4th wicket with our overseas Aussie pro. Ended up finishing on 302/3 and bowled them out for 220 ish

Funny how these horrific pitches that flatten out to become shirtfronts after teas only ever seem to get mentioned when the person postings team has batted first  :o ;)

We played on saturday pitch was damp & then continued to drizzle through most of our innings nearly coming off a couple of times.   Reaching a very modest 106ao. Opposition in drying conditions with sun out bowled out 63 & they were getting better value for runs as outfield running better

Had a horrid weekend. Saturday, bowled out for 55 and I made 0. Opened the bowling and had a dropped catch in the first over of the innings which could of made it interesting.

Sunday, we batted first, opening bowlers were nothing special and after hitting a 6 I got out to a ridiculously good catch low at 2nd slip. Bowled ok in my first spell but came back on and had no motivation to bowl. Didn't feel like taking a wicket and was brought off, after I had taken a wicket.

My league innings this season have been 18/24 38/19 0/54 78/13 0/8 thats split between sat/sun

Had terrible time today, broke my toe whilst bowling and currently putting it in an ice bath at hospital.

And then the game ended due to rain just afterwards !
