Love how you talk up the delivery and then compare it to your own. :D

Well after you get smashed for 2 consecutive sixes and then get out for 3 you have to find some positives  :P

Plus they were fairly similar.

The one I bowled: Yorker in at batsmen feet, he swings, goes under the bat and hits bottom of middle and leg.
The one I got out to: Yorker at my feet, too busy trying to adjust feet(I am still working on my footwork) hits bottom of middle stump.

I'm not really too bothered about getting out to that guy. After 8 overs he had 4 wickets for about 7 runs, he was the only reason they won.

Had my first bowl for a month after being out with injury. Replaced our opening bowler after he bowled the first ball of his 7th over, a dot ball, but pulled up injured.
I bowled the remaining 5 balls of the over, for no run, and took a wicket.
Can I claim it as a wicket maiden??

(Rhetorical...I know it's not...)

I got  under a skyer from their opener who was on 57 out of 60 odd. Caught it but out for a month with a broken hand and little finger. Carried on bowling before realising that it smarted a bit!

only played yesterday due to attending a wedding saturday.

But playing against a president's XI side we bowled them out for 70 inside 20 overs with some very tight bowling and no catches being dropped :) with myself taking a sharp catch at slip.

our run chase went rather smoothly and we got the total without too much hassle inside 18 overs with a loss of only 2 wickets with myself scoring a 24 not out and even got my match fees paid for by an opposition player!

we had a t20 afterwards, they got 117 off of their 20, i even had a bowl! getting 2 wickets for 5 off 3 overs (chuffed!) and scoring 28 off 15 balls opening the batting and a contributing to a win :)

Had a game on Saturday that was probably the worst I have ever played in. We posted 216 after our 52 overs of which I contributed one before being given LBW by my team mate who was still pissed off about being run out by our opener for a duck. We then went out to bowl and were in a bit of trouble when the other team were about 80-1 but we dragged it back and had them 190-9 before the time ran out. What was horrible about it was they were absolute cheats, we had given a doubtful LB but we had at least 4 plumb LBs turned down with the classic excuse of going down leg when it was probably hitting middle stump, one of these was their opener who got a 50. I then had a catch standing up to our spinner not given and the umpire gave it not out and the batsmen refused to walk even though he was shaking his head in amazement that he wasn't given  >:(
The batsmen who didn't walk was bowled within the next couple of overs and got a bit of a send off from me along with the bowler who should have had him. Next in was their wicket keeper who was bowled 2 overs later but as he was walking off decided to ask if he was in fact bowled or if I had knocked the stumps, I must admit I was abit annoyed at this stage and told him to piss off, a few overs later and another couple of wickets in came the batsmen who had been umpiring and not given the caught behind, first ball he cover drove for 2 to which I might have mentioned to him that it can't have been runs cause he hadn't hit it. He was bowled next ball and I must say I enjoyed it as well  ;) but then he decides half way off the pitch that he wasn't bowled and that I had knocked the bails off, the umpire at the bowlers end said he didnt hear anything (cause you obviously need to hear something to know someones been bowled  ???) and the batsmen begins to walk back to the pitch at this stage I have lost it and told him to (No Swearing Please) off  :-[ luckily the square leg umpire ( and one of only 3 decent guys in their team) decided to use some logic that if I had knocked the bails they would have fallen forwards no backwards as they had indeed done when he was bowled. As if that wasn't enough in the second to last over I had a clear stumping not given by the same umpire who had decided to call the batsmen back because he hadn't heard him be bowled  >:( they were 9 down at the time so instead of a win we had to settle for a draw. After the game I was still made because honestly whats the point in playing if the other team are going to play like that? So I didnt shake the main guys who had cheated hands, they looked surprised at this and one of them might have made a comment so I turned round and said something along the lines of if you are going to cheat you can't expect people to go along with it (don't think it was in those terms though). Thinking about it I probably went over the top a bit but when you are playing against a team like that it really wound me up. Their currently 4th in the league and I can guarantee that its not because of their skill.
Sunday I also had a catch not given after the guy middled it, what was even more bizzare was that the following ball was a carbon copy of the last but was called a wide, the only difference was that he didn't knick it  ??? at least I got him stumped standing up to a medium quick guy a couple of overs later  ;)
They also had the son of a former Indian test player who scored a 100 but was lbw on about 5  >:(
Overall not my weekend having 2 catches and a stumping robbed off me but at least we won on Sunday

Sorry for the essay  :-[
Overall not my weeked
