Simmy, you must be in serious nosebleed territory at the moment.  87,62 midweek, 25 72* - you're turning into a batsman  :D

Especially as the league rules stop teams from playing guys who haven't played at least 2 games ie. no influx of 1st teamers from kirkstall looking for a trophy. The kirkstall seamers weren't bad but we'd hope to bat better against the same attack second time around.

no at Kirkstall with the stuffing groundsman. Yes our batsman were busy hitting long hops to final leg for catching practise. Hopefully we learnt more about them, than they did about us lol!

Not a great weekend for me. 0* off 1 ball Saturday and 0 off 2 balls yesterday being triggered when we were 13-6.

Yesterday was hopeless! 12-1 to 13-7 to 31 all out chasing 220. One of their guys got a 4 wicket maiden and a hat-trick. I batted at 8 and got triggered with a yorker hitting the outside of my ankle (ouch) and would've missed leg. It was our own umpire in a friendly too.

Saturday we won so can't complain.

Played a T/20 last night. Bowled the oppo out for 110, 60 more than what they should've got. I got a direct hit run out from the boundary which is always nice.

Opened the batting for the first time in a while and got 15 off 17, everything was so slow that I kept hitting midwicket instead of straight. Still trying to get used to the new bat atm, fighting a losing battle I think.

Made a slow 10 on Sunday, was frustrating as there weren't many bad balls at all, and I got myself out caught behind trying to guide one through 2nd slip... :(
Though I'm in the 2s this week, as the 3s need to win and apparently I'm not as stable as an opener who's hit a big hundred yet had 3 goldies this year ???
Ah well, can't complain, playing at Eastcote (Prem League Ground) so happy days!! :)

Johan if Eastcote 1's are at home you will get all the leftovers from the prem league tea which is great!
