Another win today, we were put into bat on a slightly damp pitch. Myself and the other opener put on 160 for the first wicket and finished on 284. Bowled the oppo out for 77! Good times :D I hit 80

We got a reduced 35 over game in, oppo scored 106 ao. Yours truely deciding that since he couldn't standup at the crease bowling medium pace, he would bowl spin. End result was a fine derek underwood impression on a wet wicket and 4-26 :-)

We knocked it off in 17 overs for 1 down. Pics here:-

Played top of the league yesterday in a game reduced to 37 overs a side. They finished on 169-6 and we won in the 34th by 3 wickets. 19 off 10 or so before holing out to deep square leg again  >:( Think it's time to put the pull shot to bed lol

Yeah he opened the bowling, went for around 25 from 4 overs and got took off pretty early... He bowled well apart from 1 or 2 loose balls every over...

got spanked today .......... team collapsed from 80 for 2 off 16 overs to 120 all out in 28 overs.

46 runs for me.

My last two dismissals have both been to bowlers firing it into my pads and i have tried to turn it through mid wicket only for the ball to hit my pad (back pad i think on both occassions) and then defelct onto the off stump.

maybe i should be on driving them, getting inside the line of it or alternatively just digging it out ............. any thoguhts?

I'm sure people will have a few thoughts! stick up you question with as much detail in the your cricket section and take what you want from the replies.

Big win today. Bowled the oppo out for 41. Against a bunch of lads I used to play with too. 6-1-22-3, decent enough but our opening bowlers' figures were 8-6-2-3 and 7-5-4-1! They were 5-1 off 14 at one point... Knocked them off 1 down just before the rain came! Bang on.

We were skittled today against some touring team... all out for 58 of which I made 28, they then took 21 overs to get the runs losing 4 wickets...
