That might have something to do with the fact that Hunts used to make some Mongoose bats and so as Mongoose launched with no soft goods the players were given Hunts to start with.

Players do move brands for a variety of reasons.

I've seen all of his old bats, woodworm, gray nics, and mongoose and had a net with all of them! I was extremely impressed with the goose, im looking forward to seeing one of his slazengers!

I agree. It makes a complete mockery of Slazenger's sponsorship. The CA brand which is trying to be disguised ends up getting more exposure and publicity! Genius if you ask me

My opinion is that some of the top order try and play too many shots instead of actually waiting for a bad ball.

Look how many LBW's there are. I know someone will say drs this and drs that, but a straight ball should now be respected and played right, not sweeping!

Tbh its an absolute joke. I know players will always get bats when and where they want but when they are under 'sponsorship' and 'endorsing' a brand they should make more of an effort to support said brand and actually use what they are provided, or they select. Even just getting the bats without the branding would be better.
