Best Softs Have You Used/Owned So Far?
« on: May 18, 2011, 10:17:00 PM »

As the title suggest, which ones are the best for you soo far?

For me at the moment is it 2011 Puma Iridium 6000 FXT + 2011 Puma Iridium 5000 Gloves or Salix Pod Black [Close call among them to be honest]

How are these pads? I have 2009 and 2011 and there is noticeable weight difference between them.

They are nice n light, but these stick out further than my other pads due to the padding. The blue is bright and is sometimes off putting. Not sure what they weigh. I also feel i look like a storm trooper when im wearing them. Not really a softs man other than gloves. The only other protection i use is a box.

kook ice sub zero pads and kook ice 850 gloves. these are in a different league to the other softs I have used - although I'm not really a kit whore and haven't used that many different types. I was using county kit for about 10 years before I got the kook stuff.

Best Gloves by an absolute mile my H4L Ltd editions are just superb the pitards Leather is quality and the gloves are so light for the amount of protection they have !!

Best pads were a GM 606 pair I had about 4 years ago that got stolen from a changing room at an away game.
