Agree, it has gone quiet. Interested to see how Sky and Trescothick take to it in the upcoming T20s

In your time with them were the losses far greater than they had forecast

I've seen a couple being used this year by club players.

I think the difficulty is getting people to part with their hard earned cash for something different.  Maybe the marketing team should hold open days at indoor schools where people interested can wield a goose for 15 minutes against a bowling machine.

During the English T20 season we might see a bit more coverage if Trescothick, Blackwell etc. wield the bats effectively.

Is it perhaps that all those who have used them have not realised the expected benefits and gone back to the sponsors that pay more because the bat makes little difference?

My friend is tempted to get an MMi3 and as he is really good at golf, might replicate this in his batting.

I've seen a lot of corr3 models this year and 1 mmi in an evening friendly so I don't know if phase 2 of the goose master plan is working but it does seem their getting about in the southern area

I've had numerous conversations with guys at our club regarding them and consensus always seems to be people want to give one a go but would rather look to borrow one first to see what it would be like. Everytime one pops up on here I have to say I get the itch to purchase one but have always seemed to just miss out.

There was a chap using a Mongoose MMi in a pro 40 game on Sky a couple of weeks back. He flayed it to all parts....was the first I had seen this season though.

My mate who I play with here in Aust has one of each. Bought them a bit over a year ago, he picked them up when he was in the uk on holidays. Both of these bats seriously are guns. Some of the biggest cleanest hitting I have seen was with the MMi
