So jealous!!! Great finds, especially the ultimate in such great condition!

Couldn't believe it when they arrived! The pics I saw looked pretty good but they've been oiled by the previous owner and then completely unused.  He must have had some unbelievable match bats for these to go untouched!

Love the Ultimate shape. Best bat I have used. Never wanted to stop playing with mine and then all of a sudden it went dead. Purchased other bats big edge bats since and when I didn't like them I tried it again and it still felt good. retired it now.

Some nice history and signatures from great cricketers (how many can you recognise?), so really pleased to have picked this up.

Without looking it up, ones I have an idea of;

Gatting
Gower
Gooch
French?
Thomas?
Emburey?
?
?
?
Moxon
Willey?
Small

I think the one above Moxon is Bill Athey, and there might be a Phil Edmunds in there  as well.

I was always a bit of a Mark Waugh fan, and I can clearly remeber him blazing away with his Slazenger V100, like thishttp://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jYQvXJWOI2U/UR2ADBNUUjI/AAAAAAAAATA/xsX4O8Byso8/s1600/1992+Mark+Waugh+Slazenger.jpg

anyone on the forum get the pleasure of using such a bat?
What were they like?
Were the made in the UK or Aus or Both?
and where are the Slazengers being made now days?

As I'm on a roll with the photobucket malarkey I thought I'd share this, v100 5 star. Lovely straight grains, hardly used, picked it up off eBay some time ago for 99p.

Mate has got a DF Magnum that he's looking to sell if anyone wants to acquire it for their collection?

There's a clean looking V100 5star up for auction on Aussie eBay at the moment. Just to be clear, I'm not the seller. I might just throw in a sneaky bid though.
