Had one yesterday where the umpire called wide a fraction before the batsman jumped across and cracked it through cover for 4.

Weird one yesterday.
I misjudged a run and had to run back to the bowlers end and there was a run out appeal. The umpire didn't give it out. The other team appealed again. He then went and spoke to the square leg umpire who was about 30 yards away from the incident and the square leg umpire gave me out.

Played yesterday, their umpire gave me out LBW. I am left handed, was batting a foot outside my crease on leg stump. Bowler was bowling from wide on the crease over the wicket. Ball pitched a couple of yards outside leg stump, I took a big stride forward (im 6ft) attempted an ugly front pull, ball hit the top of my front pad still outside leg and I was given out. I didn't realise as I was laughing at the bowler for appealing and the umpire nodded and didn't raise finger and the bowler the only one to appeal was celebrating the rest on the team didn't even cheer they just stood in shock. I know plenty of guys who would have wrapped the bat around the umps head. Stood for about 10 secs looking around, shaking my head and walked off. In 20 yrs I have been LBW 3 times. But in all my time playing and watching i've never seen a decision like it. The pavilion is side on apparently  the decision looked even worse from there. Sorry had to get it off my chest. Only my 5th game this year and my last due to wife and child and their selfishness wanting to spend time with me! So a gutting way to end. On the plus side the oakleys I bought from jim were great and I will never field again without sunnies and my arytek gloves are and were great yday as well.

Was given lbw during the week when it hit the top of my front pad and im batting a foot outside of my crease, I was sure it was too high and also not to sure about the line
Another one within the last couple of weeks is a batsmen absolutely middling it to me behind the stumps, the umpire starts to put his finger up and the batmen says I didn't hit it and so the finger went back into his pocket, the batsmen then decided to have a go at us about how he hadn't hit it and that we were cheating for appealing, safe to say me along with the rest of the team wern't happy

had a couple of incidents over the last two weeks, one umpire calling no ball from square leg for the keepers gloves being infront of the stumps (not catching it infront, just the hands being over an imaginary line past the stumps)

also, in our league, the fielding restrictions state that you are allowed a maximum of 2 fielders outside of the 30 yard circle for the first ten overs, square leg umpire called no ball mid delivery because we only had one man out of the ring, worst thing was that their best bat who was on zero at the time chipped it to cover who dropped it (claiming he was put off by the call haha), umpire had to apologise, dead ball called, the batsman made 50 but we still won.

different umpires look to penalise based on different rules, wouldnt mind if they all did it but when you just get the odd one its a bit like showing off!

Oh yeah it is unlucky, but fair enough and fair play to the umpire for being alert!

think we had between 150 and 200 people watching, every single one was confused as to what the no ball had been given for

I've called these a couple of times and got loads of grief from the fielding side.

I got done twice today for keeping no balls....it was the first time i ever got done for a no ball

I have washed my whites, packed them away. Kit bag and equipment in the attic. You are right I can't end on that decision, I couldn't sleep last night thinking about it! I got no balled keeping at beginning of season called after the guy was cleaned bowled. Think it contributed to my retiring from keeping, that and I wasn't any good and it hurt for days in the legs! There are a couple of games in Sept maybe I can dust down the whites for one of those. At least one of the weekends I am going to the 3rd test with the missus so can't complain about that one!

Their batsman got stumped,by coming down the wicket clearly out,we all appealed, the umpire started to raise his finger and saw the batsman glaring at him shaking his head,and then the finger went and scratched his nose!!
