Loving that Duncan Fearnley...from the days when your basic choice of bat in most cricket shops was Fearnley, Slazenger, Gunn & Moore, Gray-Nicolls and the occasional Stuart Surridge, how times change!

Did you's win Chester Dan? Scott was saying he got a few wickets and got Gordon Muchall out against South Shields?

Do you realise, you've barely changed at all?

Tbarnfield - welcome to the Westmorland League  :) Who are you playing for this season?

Will be playing at Warton as I'm good friends with Ryan Nelson who has just re-joined due to having a child. How much I'll be able to play I'm not sure as I only managed one second team game at Morecambe this season so far. Looking forward to playing back in the league where it all began for me, Ambleside is still one of my favorite grounds!

No I'm sure you're right mate. I'm doing mine next year too, it looks more time-consuming than downright difficult. You doing PE yeah? PGCE?

Warton is probably the ground in the best condition and definitely has the best facilities.  Ambleside does beat grounds for location and views from the wicket though, with Sedgwick a close second in my view.

No mate got stuffed, they had a young lad opening the bowling, was rapid, quickest I've faced, Simpson was mediums compared to him! Wicket was like concrete too so wasn't the most enjoyable experience!
