Back on subject... Kook or puma? I'd like both but I think puma gear is very common, well it is around our leagues.

What does it matter where they come from or where the company originates from?

I would go with ss or kook mate if you don't like pooma. The stuff I have got is great

I was answering the question where Liam felt that Puma was common so Kooks would solve the problem.

Puma does seem pretty common but I can never figure out why, I just cant get on with their keeping gloves for some reason. They feel overpadded in the palm and just dont give me the flex I can get in other brands.

I have always been a Kook Silvers man but have just picked up a pair of Hawk W10 pros from last year (SS made) and they are quality, cant recommend them highly enough.

Theres way too much puma gear in our leagues unless a keeper has sponsorship. I'd be very tempted to try kook silver with the haddin pads. Im stuck with some puma 6000s tonight, they feel nice enough but very big and bulky on the palm and loose on the fingers :/  (if that makes sense)

Yeah that exactly what I mean, its almost like the palm padding is too big and overlaps the base of my fingers so I cant bend them properly.

It might be that I have strangely shaped hands and they fit other people well but I suspect they are so popular because quite a few people like the pretty colours.

It sounds like we have similar preferencesso I would definately reccomend trying on a pair of kook silvers, or if too expensive a pair of SS or Hawk.

Yeah there's a real lack of 'feel' on the palms. Budget won't matter if I'm keeping full time, will have to see after these next few games. I think I'll end up going kook silver just for the longer cuff

The gear looks nice enough but the whole WMD communist theme does nothing for me

Go with the Silvers mate, good investment. Padding is alright and supple as you like
